The portal of Yamunotri temple opened on 18th April, 2018 this year. The beginning of Char Dham starts with Gangotri followed by Yamunotri, Kedarnth and Badrinath, traditionally. This tradition of Char Dham is in existence for many centuries since vedic times as per the holy books. The opening dates of the remaining dhams – Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath – are as follows:

Kedarnath: 29th April, 2018
Badrinath: 30th April, 2018
